Long, long ago there was this country called Rockson. It was a well organized country, and a big one. This was because of the many well trained cowboys in the country. One day two cowboys from adjacent countries attack the leader of Rockson, who has trained shooting all his life, while his two attackers are still learning. But, as cowboys used to do it, the leader of Rockson proposes a fair battle or ‘truel’ between all three of them, where the one with the least chance of shooting his target may start, then the one with the at that moment least chance of hitting his target, and then the one with the biggest chance, which is the leader of Rockson.
They prepare for the battle and not much later stand in the middle of an empty area, all facing each other. Attacker A has a chance of 2/3 of missing his target, Attacker B has a chance of 1/2 of missing his target, whereas the leader of Rockson never misses his target. As stated before, Attacker A may start, then Attacker B may shoot, then the leader.
Whom will Attacker A shoot at?
